Raymond James hires Dan Connolly to lead Technology & Services Investment Banking

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James today announced that Dan Connolly has joined the firm's Investment Banking division as senior managing director and head of Technology & Services Investment Banking. Connolly will oversee the strategic direction and continued growth of the firm's Technology & Services platform, leveraging his extensive experience and industry relationships to strengthen the team’s advisory offering.

This hiring reflects Raymond James' ongoing investment in its Technology & Services practice and commitment to delivering differentiated insights, strategic guidance and execution expertise to clients across the sector.

Connolly joins Raymond James with nearly three decades of investment banking experience and an impressive track record advising technology companies and financial sponsors. His addition further strengthens the group’s senior leadership and underscores the firm's commitment to delivering specialized industry insight and strategic advice across the technology landscape.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Connolly spent 27 years at William Blair. During his tenure, he held several leadership positions, including co-head of global M&A, global head of technology M&A, global head of software investment banking and co-founding member of the technology investment banking team. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than 300 public and private M&A transactions and financings.

Connolly earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is based in Chicago.
